In 1961 Cherilynn won the Miss Teenage Georgia title and 50 years later, won the title of Ms. Through the years Cherilynn’s students have won local, state and national titles.
Cherilynn originated the first Christmas Parade in Henry County in Stockbridge and it is still continuing in McDonough. She moved to Henry County in 1970 and added gymnastics, cheerleading and TKD to the school curriculum. Cherilynn became director of the school in 1964 and traveled with the USO during Vietnam. 47 years later, she founded the new mature Paris Dancers, consisting of performers with the ages of 56 to 82.Ĭherilynn’s mother started the Paris Dance School in 1930 and traveled with the USO during WWII. To acquire a home based theatre to entertain, encourage and inspire Seniors and others to experience the joy of living fully each day.Ĭherilynn Paris founded the original Paris Dancers in 1964, with performers ranging in ages from 18 to 28.
